Itinerary:
Diamond Head State MonumentDescription: This is a very well-paved and not too difficult of a hike! Although for those who aren't in the best shape, this may be difficult, especially on a hot day. Hanauma BayDescription: Check out all that coral not too far from shore. The water is really shallow so it's easy to scratch yourself on the coral or accidentally step on it. Dolphin Encounter at Dolphin QuestDescription: Dolphin Quest is HUMANE CERTIFIED and the dolphins are adorable! Dole PlantationDescription: Pineapple and Dole Whip heaven Laniakea BeachDescription: Giant turtles right near the shore! No snorkeling necessary Island Mana WinesHelena's Hawaiian FoodMarukame UdonGiovanni's Shrimp TruckDescription: Shrimp Scampi (right) and the Hot and Spicy Shrimp (left). The Hot and Spicy was truly spicy, but I'd definitely recommend the Shrimp Scampi Matsumoto Shaved IcePaalaa Kai BakeryDescription: These snow puffies were so flakey and delicious! I wish I had gotten another box. Musubi Cafe IyasumeLeonard's BakeryDescription: These malasadas are amazing!! My favorite was the haupia

Itinerary:
Hanalei Farmer's MarketDescription: This farmer's market is rather disappointing because it is small and there weren't many food vendors when I went. They sold a lot of fruits such as mangoes and papayas. I tried the soursop mint juice which was yummy and refreshing! Na Pali Coast State Park: Kalalau TrailDescription: It rained during our stay so this hiking trail was super muddy and slippery. A lot of people slipped, but we took it slow and made it unharmed! Kokee and Waimea Canyon State ParkDescription: There was so much fog, but at least you can still see some amazing colors! Spouting HornNapali Coast Snorkel AdventuresAttempts taking photos on a rocky boat Smith's LuauWailua River Kayak TourDescription: First time kayaking in the rain. Who knew people did water activities in the rain? Hawaii is always a fun place to visit, and there are surprisingly affordable flight and hotel packages (especially from LA). We stayed in Kona, but had a rental car to visit the attractions.
